[Movie News] Experience The Birth Of An American Icon – Trailer Debuts For SATURDAY NIGHT

Published on

I was 14 years old when SATURDAY NIGHT (now known worldwide as Saturday Night Live) debuted on NBC – I would be lying if I told you I remember its big debut – for me, Saturday nights were for local horror hosts, Big Chuck and Hoolihan, or The Ghoul but – it wasn’t long after the show debut though that the school hallways were filled with the clamoring questions of “who watched Saturday Night?” its reputation grew quickly and well – we all know what has happened over the decades.

This fall director Jason Reitman will transport us back to the night of the first show – and all the madness that swirled around it. Got a first look trailer – let’s do this.

A monster cast brings this one together – and the thing I find the coolest – the film will debut on Oct. 11th – 49 years to the day of the first airing of the show.
