CUYAHOGA FALLS – Friday night was the perfect way to kick off the end of summer! Australian pop-rock boy band, 5 Seconds of Summer, graced the Blossom Music Center stage with opener, Meet Me At the Altar. Both bands had high energy, good sound, and a great setlist.
Meet Me at the Altar is a pop-punk trio from the East Coast consisting of Edith Victoria on vocals, Téa Campbell on bass guitar, and Ada Juarez on drums. The trio often collaborates through YouTube due to the distance between home states and the lack of a true hometown. While kicking off The 5 Seconds of Summer Show, MMATA covered a couple of classics including Kelly Clarkson’s Since You’ve Been Gone and Avril Lavigne’s Complicated.
At 8:50 PM, the lights went out and the boys came out! 5 Seconds of Summer is a pop-rock group consisting of Luke Hemmings on vocals, Michael Clifford on guitar, Calum Hood on bass guitar, and Ashton Irwin on drums. Formed in 2011, the Australian boy band has released multiple studio albums, live albums, extended plays, singles, and music videos.
The band had a whopping 29-song setlist for their summer show. Take a look at the hits we got to enjoy!
