Trailer For New Paramount Plus Documentary Explains Why The 80’s Metal Scene Was NOTHIN’ BUT A GOOD TIME

Published on

80’s glam rock is still as relevant today as it was in the era it was originally produced. The fact that bands like Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Guns n Roses – and literally dozens of other 80’s band as still touring and packing venues and in some cases stadiums are a testament to the power of the music – and given the excess the era it’s amazing as many survived that have.

It appears as if this new documentary coming at us from streamer Paramount Plus will be focusing more on the excess than the music – take a look at the trailer and see what you think.

From the press materials:

“Go inside the ‘80s hair metal phenomenon that enthralled generations of music lovers and still influences culture today. Directed by Jeff Tremaine (jackass, The Dirt), the three-part series showcases the notoriously wild ’80s hard rock phenomenon and features interviews with those who lived it, including Bret Michaels, Stephen Pearcy, Nuno Bettencourt, Dave “Snake” Sabo and Riki Rachtman, along with Corey Taylor and Steve-O, among many others. Nöthin’ But a Good Time: The Uncensored Story of ‘80s Hair Metal premieres September 17 exclusively on Paramount+.”

Sept. 17th – Paramount Plus – it is indeed sounding like a good time.
