Creativity in the Spotlight: NE Ohio Shows Out Alongside Superman, Supernatural & More at FAN EXPO Cleveland 2025

Published on

Cleveland’s Huntington Convention Center transformed into the ultimate pop culture playground March 21-23 as FAN EXPO Cleveland rolled back into town for another unforgettable weekend. Whether you’re a die-hard Supernatural fanatic, a Harry Potter devotee, or just someone who appreciates an absolutely unhinged Leatherface performance on a red carpet — there was something here for you.

The celebrity floor was buzzing all weekend. Supernatural fans lost their minds over the cast turnout, and the show’s legendary 1967 Chevy Impala sitting right there on the floor was a chef’s kiss touch. The Superman reunion panel — featuring Brandon Routh, Tyler Hoechlin, Tom Welling, Dean Cain, and George Newbern — was easily the weekend’s biggest crowd moment. We caught up with George Newbern for an exclusive interview (watch below!) where he talked about what reunions like this mean to fans and his connection to the character.

Oliver Phelps signing Funko Pops at his table, the 501st Legion raising money for St. Baldrick’s Foundation, and a Ghostbusters fan group running a full Janine Melnitz reception desk with an Ecto-1 Mini Cooper parked behind it — the floor had Easter eggs around every corner.

Cosplay was next level this year. A guy walking around with a flatscreen TV for a head displaying a giant eye might be the most creative build we’ve ever seen at a convention. Mad-Eye Moody, Captain Jack Sparrow, and a Leatherface duo who basically put on a full comedy show on the red carpet rounded out an incredible weekend of fan creativity.

Artist Alley was worth the trip alone — Nick Lanza’s wall of pop culture travel posters was jaw-dropping — and Wild Bill’s root beer stand kept everyone fueled up between panels.

FAN EXPO Cleveland keeps getting better every year. If you’ve never been, 2026 is your year to fix that.
