Eric Clapton just announced a quick “whistle stop” tour of the states and low and behold – Cleveland is on the list. The three-time Rock Hall inductee will be making a stop at Rocket Arena on Thursday, Sept. 11th with The Wallflowers handling the opener duties.
The last time Clapton performed in town was way back in 2008 and that was for a show at Blossom so needless to day – he doesn’t come around often so, I would lock in those seats and lock them in quick.
“Slowhand’s career has spanned six decades and has allowed him to amass a catalog of music that is second to none – from his time with The Yardbirds and Cream to Blind Faith and then his illustrious solo career – the man is the definition of “legend”. And let’s face it – everyone owes it to themselves to hear Layla played live at least once in their life.
You can pick your seats for the show starting this Friday, March 7, at Seetgeek.com.
