After Luke Holland’s official departure from The World Alive was announced on Nov 3, fans were anxious to see who the replacement drummer would be. Months of speculation and rumors later – we have an answer! Matt Horn, who worked with TWA on their previously released album ‘Life Cycles’ will replace Holland as the band’s new drummer.

The band released the following statement regarding the announcement:

“A new chapter in The Word Alive’s story has begun. We’ll be turning over the touring drummer duties to our long time friend Matt Horn. Those who have followed our journey for years know him as our long time drum tech and the performer on our album ‘Life Cycles’. We believed after much deliberation that the best path for us, was to keep things in the TWA family. Matt has been one of our biggest supporters and it is our honor to give him this well deserved opportunity! Enjoy this play through of “Sellout” off of our latest album “Dark Matter” and come welcome Matt to the family personally at a show nearest you in 2017!

– Telle, Tony, Zack, Daniel”
