Grammy nominated artist Will Hoge will be bringing his unique storytelling style to Musica in Akron on December 8th.

Hoge is out supporting his great new album titled Anchors which was released this past August.  The album contains songs about love lost (“The Reckoning”) and reconciliation (“A Little Bit Of Rust”) which also features Sheryl Crow.  Perhaps the best track on the album is a song about how two people fell out of love titled “The Grand Charade.”

His songwriting and musical style is a combination of early ’70s Neil Young, mid ’80s John Mellencamp and Wildflowers era Tom Petty.  Anchors is my favorite album of 2017 and I wish I would have come across it sooner.

If you are a fan of great singing and storytelling, do yourself a favor and check out Will Hoge at Musica on December 8th.
