The fourth session of the 20th Annual Tri-C Rock Off took place at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum Saturday night.  This session, hosting two out-of-state bands, showcased a lot of young talent from Northeast Ohio as well as Rhode Island (!) and St. Louis.  That’s quite a distance for these young rockers to travel to show off their skills.  But, if you wanna live a rock and roll lifestyle plenty of road miles are part of the gig, right?

Several of the kids are still several years away from their driver’s licenses; that didn’t stop them from playing some fairly mean licks, a few awesome stage jumps, and a nod or two to punk legends that have been dead since well before their parents’ first dates.

The “Final Exam,” in which the winning bands from each of the four sessions will compete for a host of prizes, will take place Saturday, February 13th at the Rock Hall.  Tickets for this event always sell out, so if you plan on attending make sure to get your tix fairly soon.
