American blues guitarist, Popa Chubby will be playing the Music Box Supper Club on April 6th.  The Chubbster, who recently played a sold-out European tour will be bringing his style of rockin’ blues to Cleveland.

Theodore “Ted” Horowitz began his career in the Bronx by playing the drums.  After hearing Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton as a teenager, Horowitz turned his attention to the guitar and began immersing himself in the blues.

Taking the stage name Popa Chubby, he released his first album in 1994.  He has gone on to release over 20 albums in his career including his latest CD titled The Catfish last year.

You can expect to hear many songs from his new album as well as songs from his vast catalog.  If you like your blues a little rough with a rockin’ edge, check out Popa Chubby on April 6th at the Music Box.  Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 the day of the show.
