Richard Marx, the ’80s icon and hitmaker, will be bringing his endless Summer night to Northfield’s Hard Rock Rocksino on Saturday, September 23rd. Playing a stripped-down acoustic show, look for a more intimate approach to Marx’s discography.
Exceeding 30 million in record sales, the stalwart singer/songwriter put himself into the record books by being the first solo artist to have his first seven singles hit the Top Five on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
You may know him best for tunes such as “Endless Summer Nights,” “Should’ve Known Better,” “Now and Forever,” and “Right Here Waiting.” Also a prolific songwriter, he penned “Dance With My Father” for Luther Vandross, which won several Grammys in 2003.
