ARIANA GRANDE // NO TEARS LEFT TO CRY
Grande starts this song off with her whimsical vocals trailing us into a more upbeat tune. Starting off we thought this song was going to be soft, and somber. However, we were pleasantly thrown off by her upbeat tune and vocals in a positive do-you vibe. Prominent vocals play during the chorus with separate vocals in the background in a calmer, chill, and easy going vibe.
JASON ALDEAN // YOU MAKE IT EASY
With Aldean’s resonating well-known southern vocals, we’re immediately captured by this softer tune. You Make It Easy sets a great mood with lyrics soaking in the perks of that special someone. The soft guitar parts reach a new favorite toward the end of the chorus in the song. Aldean knew what he was doing when he wrote this song, and a break from all the pop-country that’s been flooding music was perfect.
SEAN PAUL & DAVID GUETTA // MAD LOVE FT. BECKY G
Becky G’s vocals start us out with a spectacular feel-good attitude in Mad Love. The Reggae added to a simple pop track makes this single stand out by itself. As if that were’t enough, the track itself curves and turns so well with Becky G’s voice you almost have to give it a listen.
STYPER // SORRY
Originating from Orange County, CA., 1983 formed heavy metal band Stryper has since then kept us up to track with their nostalgic sound and lyrics. Sorry starts out with a nice guitar intro, and then to say Michael Sweet’s vocals were phenomonal as always would be an understatement. Check out Sorry for an 80’s metal-throwback feel.
