NEO Music Scene is happy to announce the addition of Dave Dreher to our team as a staff writer and photographer.  Dave will primarily be covering the hard rock/metal scene at venues like the Agora, House of Blues and the Grog Shop.

Dreher brings with him a wealth of experience having worked with a number of music outlets over the past several years.

Dave actually started his musical journey by “traveling around” with the Michael Stanley Band and Donnie Iris in the early ’80s.  After getting married and raising kids, Dreher had to give up life on the road but still managed to find time to attend some concerts.   After spending some time working on some horror movie web sites, Dave decided to put his creative writing and journalism degrees to use and began reviewing concerts for some music outlets in the area.

This experience is what attracted us to Dave and we hope this addition will widen our audience.  He gives us the ability to cover some shows that we might not have been able to cover in the past.  This allows you, the reader, to get more information about upcoming concerts and coverage of shows that you may have attended or perhaps missed.

Dave, welcome aboard!

Greg Drugan has been attending concerts since 1982 and has seen everyone from AC/DC to ZZ Top. Classic rock is his forte, but he is also well versed in alternative and pop music. When not attending concerts, Greg can be found teaching history, psychology and the history of rock n roll at a rural high school where he also serves as the head track coach. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with his family.
