It was looking kind of bleak for metal fans who over the last few years had enjoyed the Ink At The Clink festival that had been held on the grounds of the Ohio Reformatory.  Things got a little ugly for the folks that ran the show and it was announced that the festival which I think was in its third year – was going to be no more.

But – today we got word on a new festival that is going to fill the spot and damn – do they have a link up. It’s called INKarceration and will be a three day festival of music, tattoos and all around bad-assery.  Check out the line up they’ve put together.

Rise Against, A Day to Remember, Bush, Black Label Society, Clutch, Our Lady Peace, Suicidal Tendencies, Fuel, Hatebreed, Sevendust, Living Colour, Of Mice and Men, Corrosion of Conformity, Lit, Life of Agony, Alien Ant Farm, ’68, Soil, Adelitas Way, JennCity, Bad Omens, Fear The Fallen, Akadia, Through Fire, All About A Bubble and a promise of more to come.

The event will be taking place July 13th, 14th, and 15th.  Over 70 tattoo vendors will also be on site, a Rock and Roll Circus Sideshow titled Hellzapoppin is also included in the price of admission.  You’ll also be able to tour the amazing penitentiary which of course was made famous by being used as a filming location for The Shawshank Redemption, Airforce One and a slew of other films.  Food Vendors and the like will also be on hand.  It’s going to be a kick-ass weekend of epic proportions.

I know you’re wanting to know how to get yourself some tickets for this one so – let’s make it simple.  Just click here and make it happen.  Boom – that easy.
