Growing up on Cleveland’s west side – Bay Village to be exact – drummer Mike Lunoe could do little more than dream about one day taking the stage at Playhouse Square but on Nov. 27th – he will do just that when the current touring production of the Broadway smash CHICAGO pulls into town. Mike was kind enough to take a little time out of his hectic tour schedule to sit down and have a little chat about how he came to be a part of this dynamic production and his thoughts on performing in a theater that he often visited in his youth.

The tour pulls into town on Nov. 27th and will perform shows till Dec. 2nd.  This production features NFL Legend and Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George in the role of Billy Flynn.

From the press release:

“Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, CHICAGO is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today’s tabloids.”
