The 21st annual Tri-C High School Rock Off kicked off Round 1 this past Saturday with not only some phenomenal bands, but an amazing crowd as well! Things kicked off flawlessly as the artists brought their best original and cover songs, giving the crowd a lot to jam too as the night when on. Fans from all over came to support their favorites, donning shirts, signs, even giant face cut outs in show of their support.

Round 1 included bands from not only the Ohio area, but Pennsylvania and Rhode Island as well as they all fought for a spot in the High School Rock Off Final Exam at the end of February. Bands included:

-Nate Muhlbach
-Inner Reflection
-Knock Knock
-No Good Solutions
-Jack’s Mom
-Funeral Proposals
-Trouble Clef
-The Rhythm Section
-The Frats

Every single band/artist brought their very best, making the decision no easy task for the panel of judges. By the end of the night, the crowd was more than anxious to know who would be advancing to the final round. Three bands were chosen to compete once more against the winners of the remaining rounds. Congrats to Funeral Proposals, The Frats, and No Good Solutions as they make their way to the Rock Off’s Final Exam!
