The 80’s were a defining decade for rock music, so many great bands came of age during that period but few have managed to truly stand the test of time but Huey Lewis And The News have managed to make time stand still – they are still rocking crowds, selling out venues and spreading the gospel of Rock n Roll  all over the world.

An infectious blend of R&B, rock, searing harmonies and catchy hooks – Huey Lewis And The News ruled supreme over the 80’s and beyond. From the debut of their 1982 album Picture This and the MTV mega-hit “Do You Believe In Love” to their amazing cover of “It’s Alright” in 1994 – the band amassed an amazing run of 13 Top Ten singles. and have brought the world a treasure trove of sing-along favorites that are as popular now as they were when originally released.

The band will be bringing all those hits, and likely a few surprises, to the main stage of the Hard Rock Rocksino on Saturday, June 10th.  The show is sold out so if you were asleep at the wheel on this one – you’re going to have to be a little quicker on the clicker next time.  This is a band that you have never truly experienced unless you’ve experienced them live.

Celebrating 38 years together, the band features the following line-up.

Huey Lewis & The News are: Huey Lewis (vocals and harmonica), Johnny Colla (saxophone, guitar and vocals), Bill Gibson (drums, percussion and vocals), Sean Hopper (keyboards and vocals), Stef Burns (guitars and vocals) and John Pierce (bass).

The live show features their long time horn section of San Francisco bay area luminaries: Rob Sudduth (tenor saxophone), Marvin
McFadden (trumpet), and Johnnie Bamont (baritone saxophone).
