Two New Shows Announced To Celebrate The Music Of Michael Stanley

Published on

In December fellow bandmates and fans of Michael Stanley gathered at the MGM in Northfield for three very special nights that celebrated the life and legacy of Cleveland’s favorite son – Michael Stanley.

Those three shows in December sold out quicker than any other show in the history of the venue and still left a large contingent of fans that were unable to make a performance. Today Livenation announced two more shows – one in Akron at the Goodyear Theater and the other in Youngstown at the Robins Theater.

Making these shows even more special than the ones in December is that for these shows long-time drummer Tommy Dobeck will be behind the kit this time around. Dobeck was forced to sit the December shows out due to an illness.

Stanley’s long-time backing band The Resonators will be joined by Johah Koslen and Michael Weber and will perform songs from Michael Stanley’s five-decade catalog of hits.

The Akron show will take place on Saturday, May 28th at the Goodyear Theater. The Youngstown show is on Sunday, May 29th at the Robin’s Theater.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, Feb. 25th – it also appears there is a presale on Thursday the 24th so, you may want to look into that as well – CLICK HERE to make all that happen.

I wouldn’t wait too long to pick up some seats -got a feeling these shows are going to sell out quickly.
