If you’re of the age that you “wanted your MTV” then the bands announced for the upcoming Rock of the 80’s Tour should be no stranger to your playlist.  A trio of acts that owned the airwaves back in the day will be making a stop at the Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown on Aug. 31st.

Check this out – The Romantics, The Motels and John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band will be bringing their impressive catalog of hits from the years that MTV ruled the earth.

The Romantics and The Motels both had massive success on the all music video station when it was still inventing itself – songs like That’s What I Like About You and Talking In Your Sleep made The Romantics a household name.  The Motels ruled the charts with Only The Lonely and Suddenly Last SummerJohn Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band is better known as the voice of Eddie and the CruisersOn The Dark Side was huge back in the day – and I dare you to listen to Tender Years only once.
